How to choose a wireless charger
- Count the devices you charge together. One phone points to a puck; phone plus earbuds to a dual pad; adding a Watch makes its dedicated charging module relevant. A three-position station is unnecessary if you only use one position.
- Check the whole setup. Phone model, charging standard, case and power adapter all matter. A USB-C connector or magnetic ring alone does not establish a charging rate.
- Compare the complete bundle. Include the adapter you would need to buy. The same product family may have cable-only and adapter-included packages.
- Match the shape to its location. Check the available bedside space, whether you want the phone upright, and whether the station folds for packing. These are more useful distinctions than an unsupported universal score.
Wireless charger questions
Does a 25W wireless charger charge every iPhone at 25W?
No. Apple specifies particular phones, charger hardware and adapter ratings. Its older A2140 group has different limits, including up to 12W for iPhone 12 mini and 13 mini. Use the current Apple support table for your combination; headline power is not a charging-time measurement.
Can I use the same charger for an iPhone and a Samsung phone?
